To be aware of your body is the beginning of self love.
When your mind comes home to the body, the mind and body are established in the here and now. The present moment is the only place where life truly exists.
So breathe out yesterday, let go of tomorrow, and focus on your Self in the here and now.
Breath by breath. Moment by moment.
Releasing your expectations, releasing your judgements, and allowing your life and your yoga practice to unfold as it IS.
The only constant thing in life is change and when we are able to ride rather than resist these unpredictable waves of life, it becomes a much more pleasurable experience. It becomes a life full of love and peace.
I invite you to set this as your intention for your day, your night, or whatever frame of time currently resonates with you. An intention of love and peace.
Coming back to the breath…
Let’s inhale to fill & exhale to release.
Inhale Love, exhale Hate
Inhale Love, Exhale fear,
Inhale Love, Exhale Negativity.
Now let’s inhale to fill up our insides and exhale to envelop our bodies with our words.
Inhale Love, exhale gratitude.
Inhale Love, exhale peace.
Inhale Love, exhale strength.
Notice how you feel with these words wrapped around you. Take a few moments to breathe away any discomfort you may be feeling before we dive even deeper.
Mantras on Self Love and Inner Peace
I am worth of all the love, joy and abundance in the world.
I am strong, powerful, and full of radiant energy.
I love my body and all it does for me.
I choose to be kind to my Self and others.
I am enough.
I am filled with gratitude for all that I am, all that I was, and all that I have yet to be.
I give and receive love freely.
Notice how you feel now. Allow these thoughts and feelings to flow through your mind like the clouds in the sky.
Loving your Self is a practice, just like yoga. Nobody ever got goof at yoga by simply believing in it. You have to do it. Even when its hard; ESPECIALLY when its hard.
Loving your Self is a practice. Being peaceful is a practice.
Every act of love is a work of peace.
Acts of love don’t have to be grand, or extraordinary. The smallest acts of kindness and love can have the most profound impact.
Coming back to the breath…
Inviting each breath to be a little love note to your body, a little love note to all the parts of you that need it. Any time, any place.
Allow your Self to receive your love. Get out of your own way. You deserve it ❤
Namaste,
Kriszen
