About Me / Who I Am

I’m Kristen, the heart behind Planting Zen. I’m a Reiki Master Teacher, Yoga Therapist (& Teacher), and Intuitive Holistic Wellness Guide who believes in nurturing growth from the roots up. My approach blends gentle yet effective practices with intention and mindfulness, helping you cultivate balance, resilience, and inner calm.

I create spaces where you can shed what no longer serves you, find ease in your body and mind, and settle into a sense of calm clarity. Whether it’s personal healing, mindful movement, or restorative experiences, I’m here to support your journey, wild roots and all!

Learn to channel healing energy for yourself and others. Attunements are personalized for your level and intentions, giving you the tools to grow your own Reiki practice.

Yoga Therapy

Private sessions that go beyond standard yoga classes. Together, we’ll address your specific needs—whether that’s pain relief, stress reduction, or emotional support—using movement, breathwork, and mindful practices designed just for you.

Experiential Yoga Offerings

From restorative flows to invigorating styles, I create yoga experiences that meet the energy of your group or event. Sessions are crafted intentionally to leave participants feeling restored, grounded, and present, rather than just “having done a class.”

Private Parties & Events

Bring your group together for a calming, restorative, or celebratory experience. Sessions can include yoga, meditation, Reiki, or other mindful practices—all customized to create a memorable and meaningful event.
